VERO BEACH — A body believed to be that of Diana Duve has been found dead, according to the Vero Beach Police Department.
“A body has been found – the identity has not been confirmed yet, but we do believe it to be the victim,” said Ofc. John Morrison, Vero Beach Police public information officer.
The female body was found in Duve’s vehicle, which was discovered in Melbourne, Fla.
Duve’s boyfriend, Michael Jones, was the last person Duve was seen with as the two left What-A-Tavern Bar in Vero Beach 1:15 a.m. on Friday.
Jones was arrested in Fort Pierce early Monday morning for violating the probation he was serving for a previous charge of aggravated stalking, according to Jones’ booking report.
The Fort Pierce Police Department located Jones after “Indian River County dispatch received several pings from Mr. Jones’ phone” near the 2900 block of Crossroads Parkway in Fort Pierce, according to the arrest affidavit.
Officers found Jones checked into a hotel room at the Hampton Inn on Reynolds Drive. According to the arrest affidavit, “Jones invited [officers] inside of his hotel room and contact was made via police radio with the Vero Beach Police Department.”
Officers were informed Jones was “listed as a violent felony offender of special concern” and “placed under arrest for violation of his probation” according to the arrest affidavit.
Jones is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail without bond.

VERO BEACH — The last person seen with the missing Vero Beach woman has been arrested, according to authorities.
Michael David Jones, 31, was arrested on Sunday by the Fort Pierce Police Department in conjunction with the Vero Beach woman who went missing on Friday.
Diana Duve, of Vero Beach, was seen leaving What-A-Tavern Restaurant at 1:15 a.m. on Friday with Jones, who reports say may be her boyfriend.
Jones is being held in the St. Lucie County Jail without bond on charges of violation of probation for aggravated stalking.
According to official releases, police suspect foul play to be involved in Duve’s disappearance. Duve remains missing.

Duve, 26, is described as 5′ 3″, approximately 120 pounds, possibly wearing a black dress. She may be the driver or passenger of a 2013 Nissan Altima, 4 door, black, with a Florida tag of BISA90 or a 2002 Honda Accord EX two door, gold, with a Florida tag of ALKL76, according to authorities.

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department now suspects foul play might be involved in the disappearance of a Vero Beach woman, who was reported missing over the weekend.
Authorities have not released why they suspect foul play in 26-year-old Diana Duve’s disappearance.
The department did release new information that places the woman leaving What-A-Tavern Restaurant, located at 58 Royal Palm Point, at 1:15 a.m. on June 20.
According to information released by the Vero Beach Police Department, Duve was seen leaving the restaurant with Michael David Jones.
Jones is a 31-year-old, white male, with short dark hair and dark rimmed glasses. He is 6’0 and was last seen wearing a white oxford shirt.
Duve might have been the driver or passenger of a 2013 Nissan Altima, 4 door, black, with a Florida tag of BISA90 or a 2002 Honda Accord EX two door, gold, with a Florida tag of ALKL76, according to authorities.
