Indian River County Firefighters gearing up for Chili, Salsa Cook-off

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — This group of volunteers are cooking up plans for the 10th Annual Indian River Firefighters’ Chili and Salsa Cook-off, where 100 percent of proceeds will go to Childcare Resources, Indian River County Medical Society’s WE CARE program, and the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

The event takes place Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Riverside Park Pavilion area in Vero Beach. A full day and evening of live music and activities are planned.

Over 10,000 attendees consumed 26,000 samples of chili and salsa at the 9th annual event.
