VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Art Club would like to acknowledge the fine work and artistic achievements of the five scholarship recipients for 2014. Each year the VBAC provides $2,000 scholarships to between three and five students to graduating seniors who have plans to continue their art education or will go on to art related courses of study at accredited colleges, design schools or universities.
This year the awards will go to Richard Marini Jr., Michelle Walker, Zhenyu Li, Delaney Pantley and Siqi Yu as this year’s 2014 Vero Beach Art Club Scholarship recipients.
In keeping with one of the missions of the Vero Beach Art Club to foster art education, each student was awarded $2,000 each to be used for tuition or books for their future studies in art related programs of study.
They must have recommendations from their teachers, provide three samples of their artwork and be continuing their education in art related studies by taking art courses or have an artistic scholastic goal.
