Willie F. Lewis Sr., 76, of Fellsmere, passed away on June 1, 2014.
He is survived by his sons, Willie Fred (Belinda) Lewis, Jr., Bernard Lewis, David (Tammy) Lewis, Darrick (Barbara) Lewis, Edward Lewis of Fellsmere; daughters, Bernice Lewis, Latasha Lewis; brothers, Charles Lewis, Eddie Dean (Margaret) Lewis, and Edward James Lewis; sisters, Florence Lockett, Minnie Smith, Ruthie Lee McPhee, Carolyn Bibbs, Olivia Lewis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and other sorrowing family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Lewis, parents, Jessie Lee Patterson and W.D. Lewis.
He was born on June 12, 1937 in Blakely, Ga., and has been a resident of Indian River County for sixty-one years.
Lewis was retired from the Fellsmere Farms as a mechanic. He was also of the Baptist Faith.
Visitation will be held 12 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday June 7, at Fellsmere First Baptist Church, 107 North Magnolia Street, Fellsmere. Burial will follow at BrooksideCemetery.
