George Keenan, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 31, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Steve, Chris, Mike, and Kevin; daughter, Kathy; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Keenan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and served in the Navy during WWII aboard the USS Higbee. He had a distinguished career in television and enjoyed biking and spending time with his family.
A viewing will be held at the Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20 Street in Vero Beach from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, with a prayer vigil to follow.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m., at St. John of The Cross Catholic Church, 7550 26th St. in Vero Beach and a military burial will follow at 2:15 p.m., at South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 S. State Road 7 in Lake Worth.
