UPDATE: Victim identified in morning fatal crash

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The victim of the morning crash involving a Ford Focus and a semitrailer has been identified.

Ashley Wilson, 27, of Sebastian, was killed in the crash at State Road 60 and 66th Avenue, according to Florida Highway Patrol. 

Wilson was traveling northbound on 66th Avenue approaching SR 60 and Divier Reimondo, 43, of Homestead, Fla., was driving the semitrailer, according to FHP.  

Reimondo was traveling east on SR 60 when Wilson failed to stop for the flashing read light and the front of her vehicle collided with the right side of the semitrailer.

The car became lodged under the semitrailer and was dragged east of the area of the collision.


INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — All lanes of State Road 60 have been opened after a fatal early morning crash, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.


INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — All three lanes of westbound State Road 60 have now been opened. Parts of 66th Street north of SR 60 are still closed, according to the police scanner.

None of the eastbound lanes are open yet.


INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – A fatal wreck involving a vehicle and a semitrailer has closed both lanes of travel on State Road 60 near 66th Avenue, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP was dispatched at 3:45 a.m.
