INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Hurricane season is blowing in. The official start is Sunday, June 1.
Indian River Mall has teamed up with Palm Coast Shutters to present the 12th Annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Saturday, May 31 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Food Court.
This year, more than 30 vendors including county and government agencies will be offering support and resources for families, businesses and pets.
Meteorologist Steve Weagle will be on hand to discuss hurricanes and there will be a Hurricane Cook-off Challenge at 1 p.m.
The Salvation Army Canteen will provide complimentary refreshments.
Kids will have fun in the Hurricane Fun Disaster Zone.
The event is free and open to the community.
