SEBASTIAN — The pelican was waiting for fish, and so was I, as m.VeroNews.com covered the Sebastian River Jr. Woman’s Club fishing tournament.
I can officially say that I’ve gotten used to the different birds that reside in Florida since I moved here in 2005. The pelican has to be my favorite to photograph though, unless I’m fishing, then I hope they stay clear. Pelicans just seem to have the most personality of all the crazy birds in this state.
On this day though, for a change, the bird was the one doing the fishing, and I was waiting to photograph other people’s catch.
