SEBASTIAN — It is a kitten frenzy at H.A.L.O. Rescue in Sebastian. With so many precious little kittens to choose from, it was impossible to choose just one “Pet of the week” this time around.
This litter of four females and two males were found without a mama cat in sight on 21st Street in Vero Beach.
After spending some time with H.A.L.O. volunteers, every kitten in this litter is becoming more and more sociable. With beautiful black and white coats, they are awfully hard to resist.
The six brothers and sisters are looking for new homes to spend their lives in, but they are not the only ones. H.A.L.O. has approximately 40 kittens in the shelter and between 60 and 80 kittens in foster care.
Jacque Petrone, founder of H.A.L.O. Rescue, said the shelter needs help spreading the word about the kitten overload.
Visit H.A.L.O. Rescue at 710 Jackson St., Sebastian, or call (772) 589-7297 for more information on the kittens and other pets available.
