County to hold meeting on sewer study findings Tuesday

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – The Indian River County Utilities Department has conducted a study of areas in the City of Sebastian bordering the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Sebastian River to determine the feasibility of installing sanitary sewer service, to help reduce nutrients leaching to the lagoon, from septic systems in the area.

Utilities Director Vincent Burke and Projects Manager Arjuna Weragoda, and Earl Masteller of Masteller & Moler, the engineering firm that conducted the study, will give a presentation on the study’s findings, at the Friends of St. Sebastian River meeting on Tuesday, May 27, at 7:30 p.m.

The meeting will be at the North Indian River County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd in Sebastian and all are welcome to attend.
