Dorothy Teresa O’Shaughnessy, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 19, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James J. O’Shaughnessy; sons, Michael (Marta) O’Shaughnessy, James (Carol) W. O’Shaughnessy, Kevin J. O’Shaughnessy, Terry (Colleen) O’Shaughnessy; daughters, Marianne Stover, Nora (Bryan) Hanson; and nine grandchildren.
O’Shaughnessy was born in Newark, N.J., and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 31 years coming from Middletown, N.J. Prior to retirement, she worked as a secretary for Middletown Township in New Jersey for 20 years.
She enjoyed golfing with the Spanish Lakes Ladies Clubs and was actively involved in the Spanish Lakes community. She was a member of St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church in Fort Pierce.
A Visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m., with a Funeral Service to be held at 5 p.m., on Friday, May 23, at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
