Thomas Edward ‘Eddie’ Anderson, 55, Vero Beach

Thomas Edward ‘Eddie’ Anderson, 55, of Vero Beach, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 14, 2014.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Anderson; father Gerald Anderson; sister, Vicki Kromhout (Ron); brothers, Andy Anderson (Tina), Dean Anderson (Wanda), Bruce Anderson (Ana); and companion, Brenda Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Anderson.

Anderson was born and raised in Vero Beach. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1977. He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division from 1976 to 1979. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vero Beach and Promise Keepers. Anderson was also a member of the American Legion and Florida Trail Rider’s Association. He was President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Vero Beach.

Anderson owned G&B Asphalt and Anderson Asphalt Maintenance. More recently, he was employed with AA Advanced Air and Colkitt Air Conditioning.

He loved fishing, boating, and spending time with his family. His favorite pastime was grilling and cooking on the weekends. He never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m., May 20th at First Baptist Church in Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Celebration of Recovery, through First Baptist Church (fbcvero.org) or the Special Operations Wounded Warrior Foundation (specialops.org).
