Mary E. Lathim, 78, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 8, 2014.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lou Ann Bellis (Robert), Paula Cina (John) and Laura Binns (Peter); son, Darren Lathim; two brothers, John and Dave Hickey; and six grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years, Paul Lathim, and sister, Cheryl Johnson.
Lathim was born in Armington, Ill., on Oct. 29, 1935. She was the daughter of Homer Hickey and Vera Mae Hutson.
She moved from Armington to Vero Beach in 1968. She was a charter member of Vero Christian Church. She loved to sing in the choir and she loved her Lord and family. She worked at the Indian River Medical Center for more than 20 years as a medical transcriptionist.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m., at Vero Christian Church, 3250 9th St SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968.
The family suggests that donations be made to the Vero Christian Church Building fund.
