Diana Huffman Storch, 89, of Vero Beach, passed away on May 5, 2014.
She is survived by her son Jay H. Storch (Anne); daughter, Melinda Storch; three grandchildren, Brad Farran, Kate Martz, Jacob Bandes-Storch; and one great-grandchild, Jack Martz.
She was a 1947 graduate of Pennsylvania State University in Commerce and Finance. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
In 1948, she married John H. Storch of State College, Penn., where they lived until moving to Fort Lauderdale in 1966 and then to Lighthouse Point, Fla., in 1968.
While in State College, she owned a woman’s clothing store and helped run the family automobile dealership from 1949 to 1966. In 1958, she earned her private pilots license.
Storch was a realtor in Pompano Beach and Boca Raton for 25 years. She was an avid bridge player until her final days. She was a longtime member of the Centre Hills Country Club in State College, Penn., and the Lighthouse Point Yacht and Racquet Club in Lighthouse Point, Fla.
