FELLSMERE — A crash initially reported as involving a rural mail carrier has been found to be unsubstantiated, according to Chief Keith Touchberry.
Authorities were able to catch up with the driver and he said there was not contact between the truck and the bicycle. During the investigation, authorities found no damage to the bicycle.
FELLSMERE — A mail truck has reportedly struck a woman riding a bicycle in Fellsmere, according to authorities.
The woman was reported as being 54 years old, according to scanner traffic. This happened around 11:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of State Street in the Carter Hall Community.
The person hit by the truck is being transported to a local hospital.
