Jill Lee Worden, 70, of Vero Beach and Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away on May 4, 2014, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Alfred M. Worden; daughter, Tamara (Jeff) Christians; step-daughter, Alison (Bill) Penczak; grandchildren, Katherine and Cole Christians, and Will and Dan Penczak; and nephews, Sean and Patrick (Danielle) Lafferty.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marguerite Lafferty, and one brother, Robert Lafferty.
She was a 1963 graduate of Ohio State University, and a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Worden was a caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful friend and gracious hostess. Her pastimes included bridge, gardening, trips to the casino and Ohio State football.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the VNA Hospice House for their wonderful care and support in her final days.

A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Grand Rapids, Mich., in the near future. Arrangements are entrusted to Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
