INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Recreation Department registration for cheerleading, flag and tackle football will begin May1.
These programs are for children 4-14 years of age, no child can turn 15 before Oct.1.
The cost for Tackle Football and Cheerleading is $45 per player and Flag Football cost $35 per player.
There will be pay and weighs July 31 from 5- 8 p.m., Aug. 2 from 9 a.m.-Noon, Aug. 7 from 5-8 p.m., and Aug. 10 from 9 a.m.–Noon.
Each player involved with the Recreation Youth Tackle Football program must attend one of these Pay and Weighs in order to be placed on a team and fitted for shoulder pads.
Register at the Indian River County Administration Building by Aug. 10.
