INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Portions of 43rd Avenue will be closed between May 5 and June 2 for roadwork.
Beginning May 5 at 7 a.m., the Indian River County Road & Bridge Division will close 43rd Avenue between 21st St. SW and 25th St. SW. The closure will remain through May 16 to 5 p.m.
The department will then close 43rd Ave. between 21st St. SW and 17th St. SW at 7 a.m. May 19 through 5 p.m. June 2 for further road resurfacing.
During both closures, access for property owners and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Through drivers will be detoured along a posted route using 27th Avenue.
