Jean Marie Mugan, 58, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 25, 2014, after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by her husband Patrick Mugan; and her son Brian Mugan.
She was predeceased by her son Shawn.
She was born Sept. 1, 1955, the only daughter of R. Robert and Mary Elizabeth Reimann, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Mugan was a 1974 graduate of Vero Beach High School. She attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., graduating with an A.O.S. degree in culinary arts.
While attending CIA, she met her future husband Patrick Mugan. They were married in July 1976. Mugan worked in the culinary field for companies that included Colonial Williamsburg, Hyatt Corp, and the John’s Island Club.
A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1150 41st Avenue in Vero Beach. Internment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fort Pierce. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
