Roy A. “Bub” Cameron Jr., 60, of Vero Beach, passed away on April 26, 2014.
He is survived his wife of 25 years Nancy Peterson Cameron; son Rhett Harlan Cameron; sisters Gloria Salo (Keith), Hilda Martin, and Geraldine Dismuke.
Cameron was a Vero Beach native and son of the late Roy and Peggy Cameron. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School and attended Indian River Community College.
Before his retirement he had worked as the harvesting foreman for Oslo Packing House in Vero Beach. He was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
Outside of his expected antics and questionable vocals, Cameron could be found enjoying time on the water with his family and friends in pursuit of a state record bass.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, April 30, at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Life Celebration Service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Charlton officiating. Interment will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach. Following the interment there will be a reception at The Plaza Reception Center in Vero Beach.
