Man rants about KKK, threatens to blow up Target

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — An Indian River County man was arrested after he threatened to blow up Target and ranted about the KKK to a customer, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Anton Elliott, 58, faces charges of false report of planting a bomb and disorderly intoxication, according to the report.

A panicked female customer approached the store manager and told him what Elliott had told her, the report states.

Elliott is listed as a vagrant who lives behind State Road 60 and the Texaco, according to the report.

The incident happened Monday, around 8:30 p.m., according to authorities. When Elliott was interviewed by authorities he did not remember if he said anything about the KKK or a bomb.

He was very intoxicated, the report states.
