VERO BEACH — Those looking to learn more about investing will want to attend a free one-day financial seminar at Indian River State College in Vero Beach. The IRSC School of Business is hosting a free investment seminar Thursday April 24, 6 to 9 p.m. at the IRSC Mueller Campus, at the Richardson Center at 6155 College Lane, Vero Beach.
Come early at 5 p.m. to visit with professional financial planners and firms. Representatives will also be available at the conclusion of presentations on both days.
Various financial professionals from local and national firms will present informative sessions on topics related to market performance, personal finance and investment management.
“Most people’s retirement and investment portfolios declined dramatically during the economic downturn, reducing their wealth significantly, and the money for retirement or investment is lower than needed,” said Dr. Ronald Carlson, professor at IRSC School of Business. “This evening seminar will discuss valuable information related to these concerns.”
