INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Baseball returns to Historic Dodgertown tonight at Holman Stadium with a regular season, professional game between the Lakeland Flying Tigers and the Brevard County Manatees.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:15 p.m., with the first pitch at 6:30 p.m. Youth baseball and softball players who wish to be a part of the parade taking place prior to the game may gather at the 3rd baseline concourse wearing his or her uniform at 5:45 p.m.
Fireworks will immediately follow the game.
The game will be in celebration of Jackie Robinson, a baseball legend touted for his influence on the game and his participation in ending racial segregation in the sport.
Admission for Tuesday’s game is $5 and children under the age of 3 get in for free.
All proceeds will go to benefit United Way.
