Yvonne Hensley, 76, of Sebastian, passed away on April 10, 2014.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Dodson; three nieces; two nephews; two great-nieces; and five great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, William Lee.
A native of Washington D.C., she came to the Sebastian area in 1991 from Maryland. Hensley had been a staff assistant for the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department prior to retirement. She was a protestant and had been a member of the Palm Lake Club, serving as treasurer for many years.
For friends and family who wish the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Humane Society.
