Cultural Council’s ‘Art of Networking’ at Pak Mail

VERO BEACH — Pak Mail Beachside is gearing up to host the Art of Networking by the Cultural Council of Indian River County event on April 10 as part of its quarterly Art of Networking forays which give members and guests the opportunity to network in a “happy hour atmosphere.”

The Jamaican-themed indoor/outdoor event is scheduled to run from 5 to 7 p.m., with members receiving a complimentary entrée and non-members paying a $5 cover charge.

Pak Mail’s Art of Networking event, in keeping with its Jamaican theme, will feature authentic Jamaican cuisine as catered by Mo’Bay Grill in Sebastian, in addition to rum punch and Jamaican beers.

Activities scheduled include an interactive photo booth with props, steel pan music, walking tours of the Pak Mail Beachland Building offering Pak Mail’s premiere shipping/delivery services for members and available office space for those seeking a beachside location plus door prizes such as the chance to win a bottle of wine.

With a mission to “promote the cultural arts in Indian River County through education, collaboration, marketing and advocacy,” the Cultural Council of Indian River County provides avenues for nonprofit and artist networking, information-sharing and collaboration while providing technical assistance and professional development on nonprofit management issues.

Further, the Council encourages cooperation amongst nonprofit organizations so that they “maximize resources and minimize competition.” Local artists are promoted through the Council’s registry of member artists in the visual, performing and literary arts as well as its new Cultural Tour/Travel Registry.

The April 10 event, taking place at 505 Beachland Boulevard in Vero Beach, will focus on networking with local artists and members of the Cultural Council as well as non-members.
