Albert Anthony Guarnaccia, 84, of Sebastian, passed away on April 7, 2014.
He is survived by Klaus (Connie); daughters, Susan (Tony), Lisa (Phil), Linda (Eric), Toni Ann; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Erika, and his son, Albert Jr.
Guarnaccia served in the US Army from 1951 to 1952 as part of a secret construction mission of the Tnule Air Base in Greenland. He served as an amphibious duck driver moving materials between transport ships and Greenland. Guarnaccia was honorably discharged after an accident that left him disabled.
He and Erika owned and operated several businesses in Fair Lawn and Lodi, N.J., before retiring to Sebastian in 1982.
His children wrote, “Dad, we will always be grateful to you for your unconditional love and support. We will forever miss your sense of humor and your ability to open your heart and create friendships. Rest in peace, Daddy.”
