Margaret Lee ‘Peggy’ MacLean, 65, Sebastian

Margaret Lee ‘Peggy’ MacLean, 65, of Sebastian, passed away on March 29, 2014.

She is survived by her sisters, Gail Carrasco, and Doris Lee; nephew and niece, Jonathan and Jessica Carrasco; step-daughter, Karen Medlin; grandson, Dereck Medlin; granddaughter, Kimberly Mellace; and great-granddaughter, Avaline Mellace.

MacLean was born in Hatboro, Penn., in 1956 her family moved to Fort Lauderdale. In 1980 she moved to Sebastian where she lived with her husband of 29 years.

She was the packing house manager for Hale Groves from 1981 to 2005. She worked for Indian River Medical Center as an admitting clerk. She was a breast cancer survivor since 1993 and was known for her kindness, infectious personality, and her love towards mankind.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian. Her family invites friends to join them in celebrating McLean’s life following Mass at LeSage Hall. Donations may be made to the H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue, 710 Jackson Street, Sebastian, FL 32958.
