Fellsmere Day celebrates city, culture Saturday

FELLSMERE — The City of Fellsmere will celebrate its birthday and culture on Saturday, April 5, with its annual Fellsmere Day festivities.

The day will begin with pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. in front of the Old Fellsmere School. The price is $4 and children 6 and younger eat free.

There will also be a Flag Raising ceremony and the annual Fellsmere Day Parade.

Throughout the day, there will be live entertainment, food and craft vendors, a Cake Walk, and a historical walking tour of the city.

Topping off the day’s festivities is the Little Miss and Mr. Fellsmere Pageant, which will be held at 3 p.m.

All activities, except the parade and walking tours, will be held on the grounds of the Old Fellsmere School, 22. S. Orange St.
