11th annual Hibiscus Festival approaches

VERO BEACH – Organizers of the 11th annual Hibiscus Festival want the community to save the date for Saturday April 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The event is preceded by the Miss Hibiscus pageant Friday April 11 at 7 p.m. at The Heritage Center.

The event kicks off with the Hibiscus Festival 5K Run/Walk Saturday morning and includes a juried and judged Fine Art & Fine Craft Show, the Inaugural Professional Chalk Art Show featuring award-winning professional chalk artist Jennifer Chaparro and all genres of music along the streets and on the Main Stage including the headliner band Solid Gold.

New this year is Downtown’s first-ever Food Truck Frenzy with The Buggy Bunch.

The annual Treasure & Space Coast Radio Shopping Cart Parade that benefits The Harvest Food & Outreach Center and numerous Children’s Activities and music on the Youth Stage will also be offering up fun.
