VERO BEACH — The work to replace traffic signals at A-1-A and 17th Street is expected to continue through mid-April, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The work began in late February on the $250,000 project, which is being done for safety purposes. The project consists of upgrading the existing mast arms to the current wind load standards.
While this work is taking place, motorists can expect intermittent daytime lane closures, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday in all directions, no more than one direction at a time.
