INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Christopher Bresemen was arrested by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office on 21 counts of possession of child pornography, a number that may grow as forensic examination continues.
Bresemen was arrested at his home on the 1200 block of 23rd St. SW in south Indian River County, after a search warrant was executed in the early morning hours of March 25.
“We will not tolerate child pornographers in Indian River County,” Sheriff Deryl Loar said. “Detective Shepherd continues to work closely with other state and federal agencies to eradicate these subjects from our community. It is vital to our mission to protect the most vulnerable of our citizens, the children.”
The 28-year-old told detectives he used the laptops that officials seized to download pornography that depicted children under the age of 12 engaging in sexual activity.
According to an official release, Bresemen was unable to tell detectives how many pornographic videos were on the laptop, but did say there were “a lot.”
Bresemen is being held at the Indian River County Jail on $105,000 bond.
