INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Zorah is a 4-year-old, female Border Collie mix who was surrendered to the Humane Society when her family’s home was foreclosed on.
As anyone would be after being plucked unexpectedly from their home and family, Zorah is a little frightened and confused.
She is “very intelligent, very sweet, very gentle, and very affectionate, but scared,” said Humane Society Behavior Assistant Jason Jarman.
Jarmon added Zorah knows the commands, “sit” and “down.”
This pretty pup is in need of a kind and gentle family who can make her feel like she is at home again. She does well with other dogs as long as they share her calm demeanor.
Contact the Humane Society of Vero Beach at (772) 388-3331, or drop by for a visit, 6230 77th St., off 58th Avenue, for more information on Zorah and other pets for adoption.
