Treasure Coast Community Health receives Dyer Difference Award

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru are pleased to announce the 69th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award – Treasure Coast Community Health.

This award salutes a non-profit organization in Indian River County that is truly making a difference in the community. Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3,000 check to the organization.

Treasure Coast Community Health’s initiative is to provide medical, dental and behavioral health services to the underserved, underinsured and uninsured individuals.

The Dyer award is helping to sponsor the 2nd Annual Duck Derby to be held April 6 from 12:30-5 p.m. at Captain Hiram’s Bimini Beach. More than 5,000 bright yellow rubber ducks will enter the water and “swim” in the lagoon outside of Hiram’s resort, bobbing along a stretch of water in fierce competition to be the first to get to shore, all to benefit the Children’s health programs at TCCH.

The winning duck will make its adopted parent the recipient of a one week vacation in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Second and third place receive $1,000 and $500 respectively.
