SEBASTIAN – Among the items on a small consent agenda approved during Wednesday evening’s Sebastian City Council was the purchase of stormwater equipment for the airport.
Only 20 percent of the funding will be drawn from budgeted funds, while 80 percent will be provided through an FDOT/JAG Grant.
Money awarded will go toward the purchase of three pieces of equipment, each from the lowest bidder.
A Bobcat-Toolcat 5600 F will be purchased for $48,396 from Bobcat of Orlando. A John Deere 6115M Cab Tractor will be purchased for $73,900 and John Deere 997 mower will be purchased for $15,378, both from Everglades Farm Equipment of Fort Pierce.
The total cost comes in under the $150,000 budgeted in the current fiscal year.
