Samuel Noyes, 77, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 9, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Edwina M. Noyes; son, Brad Noyes; daughters, Catherine Rodstein and Elizabeth (Eric) Peterson; brother, Richard Noyes; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Brad Noyes.
Noyes was born Aug. 23, 1936 in Wheeling, W.Va., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for nine years, coming from Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he worked 30 years for Lufthansa Airlines.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 13, at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, March 14, at St. Helen Catholic Church.
