VERO BEACH — The Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Spring Luncheon and program on March 15 from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the church’s Center for Christian Life.
The community is invited to come and shop in the mini boutiques beginning at 10:30 a.m., which will feature jewelry, handmade treasures, upscale second hand gifts, and florals. Boutiques will be open from 10:30 until Noon, and reopen following the lunch and program.
At 11:30 a.m., McAfee Hall will open for luncheon seating, with a luncheon catered by Culinary Capers served promptly at Noon.
Following lunch, Bonnie DeLong of Denver, Colo., will return to First Presbyterian to present a live dramatic portrayal of “The wife of Noah” – a new look at an old story.
In a society full of evil, Noah’s family stood strong for God. Noah’s wife’s story is one of duty and determination told with a sense of humor.
Bonnie DeLong has portrayed a variety of Women from the Bible before local and national audiences representing many denominations. Her characters tell their stories in a unique, educational and enjoyable way.
Noah’s wife will stress, “It is not how long we live, but how we live for God that is important.”
Reserve tickets for this event are $20 a person and are available in the church office.
Proceeds from this event go to support mission projects of the Presbyterian Women.
