Homeless man arrested for running over people with wheelchair

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A homeless man has been arrested for running over people over with a wheelchair and refusing to leave the Indian River Medical Center, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Raymond Kersey, 57, faces charges of disorderly conduct and trespass, according to the report. He was also in the lobby begging for money.

Kersey was begged to leave by a nurse at the hospital Saturday, according to authorities. He had already been warned before for trespassing.
