SEBASTIAN — Ramona is a 5-year-old Rottweiler who is ready for a companion to show her a lot of love and gentle affection.
Ramona was discovered as a stray with a microchip from a foreign country, and it was clear Ramona had never been shown much love. In fact, she was the victim of a lot of abuse, according to H.A.L.O. Rescue.
At the time she was found, she was suffering from a skin infection, an infection in the ovaries known as Pyometra, and a cosmetic eye problem called Entropian, according to Jacque Petron, founder of H.A.L.O Rescue.
Now that Ramona is all healed up, she is ready for adoption. It may take some time for her to learn to trust again as she still cowers sometimes when she’s approached, but who can blame her?
Ramona could be the perfect pet for a person who is patient and kind enough to build a new trust.
Visit H.A.L.O. Rescue at 710 Jackson St., Sebastian, or call (772) 589-7297 for more information on Ramona and other pets available for adoption.
