Robert Wood, 70, of Vero Beach, passed away on March 6, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara; daughters, Ann Wood and Ellen Connolly; and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Marback.
Wood was born Dec. 16, 1943 in Chicago, Ill., and had been a resident until moving to Vero Beach four years ago.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era.
Wood was the owner and operator of R.J. Wood & Associates since 1978. He was also a member and the current Treasurer of The Italian American Civic Association of Vero Beach.
A gathering will be held at 12 p.m., on Tuesday, March 11, at The Italian American Civic Association, 1600 25th St, in Vero Beach. Military Honors will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vero Beach Humane Society.
