VERO BEACH — Recognized as one of the finest all-male collegiate choral groups in the country, the University of Notre Dame Glee Club will present a benefit concert for the Homeless Family Center and the Notre Dame Club of Greater Vero Beach Endowed Scholarship Fund on March 9 at 4 p.m. at the Community Church of Vero Beach.
The renowned 60-voice singing group acclaimed in Europe, Asia and America will perform the rousing Notre Dame Victory March, Danny Boy and Loch Lomond, as well as classics, love songs, folk tunes and contemporary college favorites.
The group is led by conductor Daniel Stowe. A native of the Los Angeles area, Stowe has been a member of the University of Notre Dame faculty since 1993. In addition to directing the Glee Club, he is also conductor of the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra and the Notre Dame Collegium Musicum.
