INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners have approved matching funds in the amount of $550,000, if Indian River County is awarded the Florida Inland Navigation District Waterways Assistance Program matching grant for improvements to the Oslo Boat ramp.
Indian River County is requesting grant founds of $490,000, approximately 47 percent of the estimated project cost of $1.04 million.
Of the matching funds, $275,000 are budgeted in Recreation Impact Fees and $200,000 is budgeted in the Florida Boating Improvement Fund.
The remaining $75,000 will come from the Florida Boating Improvement/Cash Forward with a budget amendment, according to official documents.
The pending matching funds were approved as one of several items listed on Tuesday’s Consent Agenda.
