Michelina Knapp, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 26, 2014.
She is survived by her husband Otto Knapp; brother, Frank (Jane) Graziano; sister, Josephine (Don) Mark; brother-in-law, Morton Setrin; 31 nieces and nephews; and six grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Setrin.
Knapp was born on May 8, 1928 in Long Branch, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach in 1991 from Rochester Hills, Mich.
After graduation from high school she began working for Utica Tools in New York where she served as the Executive Secretary to the President. She was a past president of the Secretary Club of Oneida County and her opera quality voice fostered her love of music. Knapp enjoyed playing jazz and traveling throughout Europe and the US with her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to Indian River Medical Center Foundation, 1000 36th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., on Friday, March 7, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
