Joseph Souza, 93, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 22, 2014.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Souza, and Richard Souza; daughters, Penny Fifield, and Janet Kohl; sister, Mary Portais; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was born in Somerville, Mass., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for six years, coming from Yarmouth, Maine.
Souza proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was of the Catholic faith.
He retired in 1992 after working over 40 years in sales. He later came out of retirement and worked over 20 years with Hertz Rental Car.
Cox Gifford Sewainds Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. No services are planned at this time.
