Homeless Family Center welcomes new marketing, events manager

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Homeless Family Center, Inc. welcomes Suzanne James on board as the Marketing and Events Manager.

Suzanne has been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1980 coming from Signal Mountain, Tenn. She graduated from John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce and has attended Indian River State College. She has one son who lives in Chicago and works in the entertainment industry.

Prior to her position, Suzanne worked as Volunteer Coordinator for Treasure Coast Hospice as well as Heathcote Botanical Gardens as their Office Administrator/Special Events Coordinator. She has volunteered for various nonprofit agencies on the Treasure Coast assisting with their marketing and public relations campaigns.

The Homeless Family Center, located at 720 4th Street, is a partner agency of the United Ways of Indian River and St. Lucie Counties, Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc., Indian River County Children’s Services Advisory Committee and Florida Department of Children and Families.
