INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is getting ready for its first “Price is Right Spay/Neuter Event” where cats will be sterilized for $10 and dogs for $20.
Want to participate? It’s easy: Just read and follow these four simple steps:
- Call the Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic at (772) 388-0801 by Noon Friday Feb. 21 to reserve your pet(s) space and pay by debit or credit card. If you’d like vaccinations or microchipping, we’ll let you know the additional price. Once space is reserved payments are nonrefundable.
- Drop off your pet(s) at the Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic on the afternoon/evening of Feb. 24. We’ll give you a drop-off time. Your pet(s) will spend the night at the Humane Society so that our veterinarians can work their magic starting early the next morning. Please make sure all cats are in carriers and all dogs are leashed before entering the clinic.
- Show the Humane Society your driver’s license or other proof Indian River County residency when you drop off your pet. You and your animals must be an Indian River County residents.
- Pick up your pet(s) on the evening of Feb. 25.
