Vero Beach ‘terrorist’ pleads not guilty

VERO BEACH — Jason Kozdra, the self-proclaimed “terrorist,” who flipped his vehicle on US 1 and allegedly made several bomb threats in January, entered a not guilty plea on Monday.

Kozdra has remained in custody on over $2 million bond since the January incident.

He faces felony charges of false report of planting a bomb and threatening to throw a destructive device. He faces a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.

Kozdra will be represented by a public defender appointed by presiding Judge Robert Pegg.

His next court appearance is scheduled for April.
