Linda Kay Croft, 70, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 12, 2014.
She is survived by Kenneth Croft who was her husband and best friend for 29 years; her children, Karyn Todd (Tariq Khalid), and Rocky Todd (Catherine); her step children Tiffany Tannous, Kenneth James Croft, and Shannon Croft; and her grandchildren, Ruby, Dexter, Keagen, Cassie, Gwen, Emily, Trenton, and Travis.
Croft was a native of Detroit, Mich., and proud graduate of Cass Tech High School in 1961. Her Motown roots filled her entire life with song. She loved singing and dancing. She was a home economics major and spent her entire life focusing on the happiness and well being of her family.
Croft moved to Sebastian in 2004 to embrace the tropical climates, sunrises over the ocean, and walks on the boardwalk. Her dog, Max, comforted her daily and they both cherished visits from the grand-dog’s Romeo and Roxxy.
She has joined the choir of Angels to sing songs of God’s amazing grace forever with her parents Dexter and Marion Martin and her brother Dan.
Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory of Sebastian is handling arrangements.
