Judith K. Taylor, 67, of Vero Beach, passed away Feb. 10, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of over 35 years, Joel D. “Buddy,” Taylor, Jr.; stepdaughter, Rhonda Taylor Hall; sister, Frances K. Clark; brother, Jerry L. Keen; two granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Roy L. and Hilda T. Keen.
She was born in Lexington, N.C., and moved to Vero Beach at the age of five with her family. She graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1964 and later attended Jones Business College in Orlando. Upon graduation, Taylor returned to the family business in 1967 and continued working at Keen’s Market until 1995.
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Feb. 19, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m., at Sebastian First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County, P. O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961 or to the Sebastian First United Methodist Church, 1029 Main Street, Sebastian, FL, 32958.
