As a social media buff, I couldn’t resist viewing my “Look Back” videos on my facebook accounts. One of the videos actually caught me so off guard I got misty-eyed. It was a simple text post, “Just heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time.”
Some in the media poo-pooed the function, saying “no one cares about your ‘Look Back’ video.” Well, apparently it was a hit since nearly 200 million users viewed their videos and around half of those shared them, according to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
