Raymond Hilton Jr., 82, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 6, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Hilton; daughters, Claire Marie Higgins, and Teresa Hilton; sons, Raymond Hilton, and Geoffrey Hilton; sister, Joanne McCarthy; and six granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Hilton.
Hilton was born in Albany, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach in 1989 from Longmeadow, Mass.
He attended Siena College in Loudenville, N.Y., before joining the US Air Force during the Korean War.
Hilton entered the insurance industry after the end of the Korean War. He worked for The Equitable Life Insurance Company and eventually worked for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company before retiring.
He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach and for many years served on the SOPA Board at Sea Oaks.
He was a member of the Sea Oaks Choir and an avid tennis player.
A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 22, beginning at 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
